METHODOLOGICAL TECHNIQUES OF THE FORMATION OF THE MATHEMATICAL LANGUAGE IN FOREIGN LISTENERS OF THE PREPARATORY DEPARTMENT OF THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

The article considers methodical methods of formation of the mathematical language with the help of texts during the study of foreign students in the preparatory department, as well as the main problems that arise in the process of teaching mathematics to foreign students studying in Ukrainian. The urgency of the problem of formation of the mathematical language in foreign students is due to the requirements for the implementation of the mathematical competence model of the graduate of а higher education institution. The main problems of foreign students who came to Ukraine to gain knowledge are: poor knowledge of Ukrainian and mathematical language in a non-native language, low level of basic school training. Therefore, the solution of this problem is based on the main methods of forming mathematical language during the training of students in the preparatory department of technical free speech such as ensuring the adaptation of students to the conditions of another environment, the acquaintance with the mathematical language and the correctness of its use in the future. The authors have developed tasks, the work on which is aimed at forming of mathematical vocabulary in a non-native language of foreign students of the preparatory department of the а higher education institution. There are some types of practical tasks that allow you to study the material from simple to difficult. A survey of foreign students of the preparatory department was conducted to find out which form of organization of the educational process more effectively contributes to the formation of language mathematical competence in lessons. The methods of forming the mathematical language of foreign students of the preparatory department of the Technical University are also offered. The results of the study are aimed at identifying educational and cognitive difficulties experienced by this category of students, their mastery of special mathematical terminology, mastering the proposed educational theoretical and practical material. The cooperation between the teacher and foreign students of the preparatory department is shown, which is aimed at forming in them the ability to highlight the main points, write a short synopsis with mathematical symbols, listen to and understand the lecture material in Ukrainian, analyze in practice many examples that will be needed in the future to enter the university.
