ORGANIZATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF STEM LEARNING ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE NATURAL EDUCATION INDUSTRY

In order to organize the educational process of those seeking education in the conditions of the New Ukrainian School, educators face the need to study regulatory and methodological documents. The field of natural education is the center of research of many scientists and at the legislative level, in accordance with the natural-mathematical concept, is under the constant control of the state. The use of the leading principle of STEM education — integration, allows for the modernization of methodological principles, the content and scope of the educational material of subjects of the natural and mathematical cycle, the technologicalization of the learning process and the formation of: skills for solving complex (combined) practical problems, critical thinking, creative qualities and cognitive flexibility, organizational and communication skills, the ability to assess problems and make decisions, readiness for conscious choice, a holistic scientific outlook, value orientations, general cultural, technological, communicative and social competences, mathematical and natural literacy; all-round development of the personality by identifying its inclinations and abilities; skills of mastering means of cognitive, experimental and practical activity; education of an individual who strives for lifelong education, formation of skills of practical and creative application of acquired knowledge. Strengthening the role of STEM education is one of the priorities of the modernization of education, an integral part of the state policy to increase the level of competitiveness of the national economy and the development of human capital, one of the main factors of innovative activity in the field of education that meets the demands of the economy and the needs of society. In accordance with this, in order to eliminate the features of spontaneity, the option of introducing STEM education and STEM technologies into educational institutions was considered and proposed, using the example of the natural educational field of the subject “Learning about nature”.
